List Building Evolved – TheListAuction.com Beta Testers Needed
So the initial response for beta testers has done very well… many thanks to all of you who got on the Advanced Notification List at www.thelistauction.com. What I’ve decided to do is have additional members who are interested in helping out (and gaining early entry w/upgraded membership level perks), with testing functions and layout of the new site, submit their requests here. Just a quick note with your expressed interest, and maybe your thoughts on "why me"…
I sincerely hope to be able to accomodate most of those requesting early entry, but we’ll see. The programming is nearly complete. As of today we’ve pushed the deadline to begin testing to March 30th, and we’re going to be doing our best to hold to that. I expect a thorough run through and time to fix any bugs or design issues not to exceed 2 weeks; so we look to be on track for an April launch!
As you may already know, this is phase one of the project. I’ll be launching the second List Building site that will be completely new and unlike anything you’ve ever heard of or seen, later in the year. The core of that system will use TheListAuction.com framework, but with a new twist that will have all of the mid-level and advanced marketers dropping jaws! I can’t wait to share this news with you…
So for now, just drop me a line of interest here at the blog, and I’ll be in contact with you directly! Have a great week!
Mike

Stephen Hall @ 10:18 pm
This is a site I’d be looking to promote, at least until it goes out of beta. Maybe much longer. I’m not sure. They’re planning to extend the beta phase until after March now. The end of March was supposed to be the end of Beta but not anymore. Thanks! Steve Hall
Michael Purvis @ 10:30 pm
Hey Stephen, Thanks for you offer to help beta test The List Auction! Much appreciated.
Gordon Stamp @ 10:45 am
Hi Michael Looks very interesting and hopefully will do what other list builders promise but never quite fulfill, that is provide a simple and economical way for the novice to build a list. I have a small (under 300) list which is growing slowly by conventional methods, would love to beta test your system and see if I could accelerate growth. Fingers crossed Gordon stamp
Michael Purvis @ 10:49 am
Hey Gordon, A list of 300 is a great start! Just keep in mind 300 responsive list members will beat out 3000 generic leads any day of the week! I’m certain The List Auction will help accelerate opt-ins. Keep up the good work and I look forward to working with you.
Robert Mountin @ 2:06 pm
I’m interested in being a beta tester.
Michael Purvis @ 2:10 pm
You’re in Robert! I really look forward to seeing some exceptional results for my list members using The List Auction. Things will be a bit slow during Beta, but it’s critical to get things flawless before full release. That being said, I’m very thankful to have so many of you want to lend a hand… Awesome!
Jim Pickett @ 3:45 pm
I would very much like to be considered for a BETA test. Contact me if you are interested and/or want more info.
Until then,
Jim Pickett
Michael Purvis @ 3:50 pm
Hi Jim, You’re in. I’ll let you know as we approach test time, and thanks!
Duane Anderson @ 4:27 pm
Hi Mike, I am about willing to do anything to help you and get me to learn more on the net, I have tried several lists, FAD, Herculist, ListJoe, and others and still have quite a bit of trouble getting any response from any of them. So I am willing to learn and help. Duane
Michael Purvis @ 4:35 pm
Hey Duane, I will do everything I can to help you succeed with The List Auction. I hope to have a short course on how to get the most from this system before we go full live. Perhaps I can get the release to you before hand and you can let me know if it seems clear enough and effective? Thanks…
Agnes @ 5:56 pm
Hi Mike,
If you want me to test your ListAuction, let me know.
I know how much a list can turn your profits in the
right direction.
Agnes
Michael Purvis @ 5:58 pm
Agnes, A list is definitely your most valuable asset. Thanks for your offer to help!
Gerson Borges @ 6:39 pm

Gerson- looking forward to working with you as well!
Lori Vargo @ 8:06 am
Hi Mike
I would definitely be interested in becoming a beta tester for you.
I have belonged to other list builders for the last couple of years but haven’t really promoted much to my lists. DUH moment when you realize potential sales you are missing. Concentrating on spending a great deal more time on my list building abilities this year AND how to use those lists. I think your program will be a great asset.
Thanks
Lori A. Vargo
Michael Purvis @ 9:05 am
Hi Lori, I’d appreciate your help in testing the system and welcome you onboard! For quite a while I spent so much time building products and putting ideas together that I didn’t take the time to keep in touch with my lists as often as I would have liked. But you’re list is much like a group of your friends, you really need to focus on them and help as much as possible. You’re right on track with your goals for this year, so awesome job! I’m also working on strengthing my relationship with my list members and trying to bring them more value, and products that will help them get where they want to be! Thanks for your comments!
John Priestley @ 11:10 am
Hi Mike, you certainly have hit the nail on the head. We all need more people in our lists. Having worked on a number of user acceptance test projects, I feel I could contribute to your beta testing. Feel free to call on me, when the time is ripe. Looking forward to working with you. Best regards, John.
Michael Purvis @ 12:55 pm
Hey John, So you’re an experienced tester then… awesome! Thanks for offering your services. I look forward to working with you.

Hi Mike,
I would be interested in beta testing your list builder. I’m a newbie and if it is something a novice like me could figure out, then anyone can use it.
Ron
j. scott bettles @ 10:53 am
Gday Mike I am newbie and I hope that I can work it all out. I am sick and tired of trying to work out how some of the traffic exchanges operate. scott
Michael Purvis @ 8:53 pm
That’s great Ron, I look forward to helping you get a good start! And I’ll make sure to have clear and simple instructions Scott. I know how frustrating many of the traffic and list building systems can be… not here!
Sharon @ 4:39 pm
I would like to be part of the beta testing, thanks for the offer. Sharon
Carol Thompson @ 5:00 pm

craig @ 6:38 pm
I’m looking for a tool that really works. I have been very impressed with what I have read about ListAuction so far. I would very much like to be a beta tester. If I can help make it run smoothly/better, than I am all for helping out. I have previous beta testing experience.
Robyn @ 8:48 pm
Dear Mike,
I am new to internet marketing, but keep hearing the phrase “it’s all in the list.” I am looking forward to being a part of this Beta project, as I’ve already spent too much on lists that don’t bring results. Thank you for this opportunity.
Michael Purvis @ 9:15 pm
Thanks to everyone who offered to assist with testing today! The response has been great, and the number of emails I have received expressing interest has been awesome! I’ll be running the first group of members through, probably a small group of 20 or so, within the next couple of weeks. Once everything is verified to be solid, I’ll be running a larger scale test with 100+ members for a couple of weeks or so before going live… I’ll keep everyone posted, and Thanks Again!
Jerry P @ 9:51 pm
Mike,
This is Jerry P. Myself and 2 partners just launched an online publishing company named Family Education Foundation. We also just launched our 1st in a series of eBooks. Our 1st eBook is called Shocking Secrets Of The Spirit World. All of us are real novices on Internet Marketing and I really need a mentor to teach me how to build a list. I’ve tried many of the “Viral List builders” and I really need to find the way to build a list fast and without all the difficulties and channlenges. Plus i’d like to build it for a small money outlay as well. We are starting our online business on a “shoestring” budget and I have a good feeling that your system can jumpstart us. Please let me become one of your 100 betatesters. I’d be more than happy to be a testimonial for you. I am also looking for testimonials for our eBook and how is has impacted the lives of the readers as well. Send an emailto me at sworldsecrets@aol.com and if you choose me to beta test the List builder, I’ll send you a Free copy of our eBook.
Thanks,
Jerry P
Donna @ 10:57 pm
Hi Mike,
I would like to be a part of the beta testing. I have tried and looked at several sites on list building, find them quite confusing at times. Thanks for the offer.
Donna
Keith K. @ 3:02 am
I’m also a ‘newbie’ but eager to learn. Would welcome a chance to be involved in testing. Thanks.
Keith K.
Beryl Warner @ 2:00 am
Age before beauty!! 70s something wants to be part of your beta startup!!
Keith Watson @ 3:01 am
Wouldn’t allow me to put in URL so here it is http://www.adam-eason.com. Now the reason I mention that URL and my concern is that most list building seems to be geared towards people wanting to promote other internet marketing products. Will it be useful for websites like ours which are aimed at other areas. In this case it is hypnosis and self-improvement products.
Michael Purvis @ 2:26 am
Hey Keith,
Our site is geared a little more toward the IM community, but I think your site would do well also as it’s something that many marketers are interested in and would promote also. Do you have an affiliate program?
Thanks,
Mike
Manfred Richter @ 3:43 am
I’m interested in being a beta tester.
Greetings from Germany, manfred
Helen OBrien @ 6:24 am
Hi Michael,
Thank you for the opportunity. I am a real newbie, totally confused about everything out there, and am on a very limited budget. I welcome your help.
Mike @ 5:41 am
Sounds great but I only have around 1700 on my list and they only receive updates to specific product groups that they have purchased.
Mike
