The Single Most Important Ingredient To Success…

Attitude… That may be a bold statement, but I honestly believe that a positive attitude coupled with focused energy can allow you to accomplish almost anything. Sometimes even I find myself making excuses why something isn't done yet, or why a project isn't on schedule. I catch myself, buckle down and throw the excuses out the window.

In the internet marketing world, as many of you probably already know, ther are never enough hours in the day to get everything done, so it usually comes down to prioritizing and getting as much done as possible. But is it fair to say that each of us could probably do a little more if we had this kind of determination?

A good friend of mine, Tellman Knudson sent this video over to me, and I was just blown away! It really puts things in perspective, and although I was about ready to call it a night… there were a few things I didn't get done yet today. I'm doing them now…

I'm going to finally start on the new traffic experiment I've been meaning to do, so keep an eye out here for some results. I'll update every few days and let you know what type of results we're seeing, and what we're doing.

Enjoy the day, and make it productive!

Kind Of Related To Website Traffic Strategies…

So normally I would offer some thoughts on generating free website traffic, or talk about how to get more targeted website traffic, but today's topic is a little off center.

I think one of the hardest things for most people to master is consistency and planning. Now, I realize that these are two completely different things but they must be used in conjunction to build a successful "work at home" business. When it comes to generating website traffic, a person has to master these skills to become successful, so I often take this for granted. But as I looked at others trying to make money online, I started to realize this was something rarely talked about, but of extreme importance.

There are so many people trying to make extra money by working online from home. I help people get website traffic, and train them on many ways to do this. Many of these traffic methods are hands free, and require little work after the initial setup. But then there are many that require daily, weekly and monthly tasks to be done… consistently, as part of a long term plan.

At first it's fun for most people, they do the "easy" website traffic chores, see the customers coming in, and then kick back and wait for the checks to roll in. After a few weeks or months, all that super targeted website traffic starts falling off, and due to lack of planning there are no long term strategies in place to keep that website traffic coming after the initial flood.

Everyone starts with good intentions, and a large percentage of people put in more than the required amount of study and training. I'm not going to go into the whole spiel about how few people take action, because I already know if you've been following me for any period of time then you're an action taker…   because the key to success is… that's right: "Action equals Results". The initial results may not be all that you had hoped for (and honestly, often they're not…), but remember, you can improve your results over time. But it's important to be getting some level of results to build on, so take action!

Sorry, I know I promised no spiel…

So if there are so many people out there that have done the learning, and are taking action… then why are there not more success stories? Well, if you look around the web, outside the realm of the "gurus", you'll find that there are many more people making a decent living online and actually enjoying their work than you may have thought.

I meet people regularly that are making great livings doing things online that I had never even thought of… quietly going about there business, helping their customers and growing their business. These people all have one very important skill set in common…

They make a well thought out plan, chart it out and are dedicated to making sure to get done the activities they have laid out. There is an end goal, and they realize the steps in the middle need to be done in a specific order to get the result they're after. Every product or membership site I launch, has a very specific website traffic plan. I follow it as closely as possible and am always monitoring the amount of generated website traffic to make sure things are working as planned. But planning is the key!

When I first started learning about website traffic techniques I would try them all, one at a time, and see how well they worked. It was a while before I realized that when I took all of these techniques and put them together in a "website traffic plan" and followed steps to get them all done on the same course that my results would skyrocket! And did they ever… just by planning, and taking consistent action!

Try putting your goal down on paper, and then drawing up a set of things you need to get done to reach that goal. Put those things on a timeline, and be consistent in taking the steps to get them done as close to on schedule as possible. Give yourself a little slack from time to time as needed, because let's face it… life happens. But hold yourself accountable as well. If you are a little behind, put in the few extra hours you need to get caught up.

Putting together a long term website traffic strategy, getting that joint venture partner on board or writing that series of articles… it doesn't matter: plan it out and consistently follow through. You'll get it done and be years ahead of your competitors… it's all part of the plan!

We'll get back on target with some new website traffic ideas next time out!

Free Website Traffic and the Power of Teleseminars

So if you're on my list, then you've heard me talk about the ideas behind the seven step process to generating massive free website traffic with "recycled" teleseminars. If you’ve missed any of these ideas, you’ll want to check out the link at the bottom of this post… it will change your business almost overnight.

Off track a bit for now, I want to cover a few other ideas on how to make even more returns from the same teleseminar recordings, be it yours personally or one you have rights to monetize. We're about to take free website traffic to a whole new level.

You already know that teleseminars can be used to drive more continuous, free website traffic to your site than almost anything else online; but can it make you money at the same time? In a short response… absolutely! And just to get your brain moving in the right direction, here’s two ways in particular to do it:

The first method assumes you already have another related product that you’re selling, or a related affiliate promotion that you’re running. Here's what to do:

Offer the recorded version of the teleseminar as a bonus when someone buys your product (or orders through your affiliate link). You can step it up a notch if you’ve already followed the seven step free website traffic map, and offer the transcription of the call or a Podcast series of the call as well. Making these all available as immediate downloads for the bonus could be the swaying factor closing your sale.

The second way you can profit from those old teleseminars is to offer them up as a stand alone product.

I recommend bundling the call with a transcription, and throwing in a few other related goodies to increase conversions. Start driving traffic to this site using many of the free website traffic methods covered in the seven step process. Keep tweaking the site until you’ve reached what you feel is your best possible conversion ratio. Keep in mind that the conversion rate on this offer will be much less than that of the free offer we used to build your list; but see what kind of numbers you can get.

You could even bundle a number of old, related teleseminars together to form a product. The choice is yours. You should be certain to set up an affiliate system on this site so that you can get others to start promoting for you, and driving sales and free website traffic when you yourself are too busy. An army of affiliates is never a bad thing!

So there’s two methods, and you can probably think of at least a dozen more… so what are you waiting for? The difference between making money and not making money online is no more complicated than making the decision to take action right now. Make that decision, and you’re already on your way to success!

Just because these methods drive free website traffic, doesn't mean that you shouldn't make every effort to get the most return! There's still a cost associated with any "free website traffic" and that's your vested time… often more important than money!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see how to use teleseminars to drive unreal amounts of free website traffic to your site that is practically begging to be put on your list, then you need to take a look at this. These seven simple steps could drastically improve your level of success online. And who couldn’t stand to double, triple or in some cases even multiply their current list building results ten times! Listen to the call… you’ll be glad you did.

Website Traffic From Teleseminars - Valuable Article Content

If you’ve ever done, or are thinking about doing a teleseminar… good for you. There are numerous benefits to be had from utilizing this powerful wbsite traffic medium. If you’re completely new to the idea, I cover the basics of teleseminars in other posts, so look for those. But today I want to talk about just one of seven little known traffic driving benefits you can achieve from the recording after you’ve done a teleseminar.

Most people simply archive their calls once they’ve served their immediate and intended purpose. Or other times they’ll package a number of them together and sell the program as an information product, great idea… but there’s a whole lot more that can be gained from using these teleseminars to drive massive website traffic. Not just any traffic… targeted, responsive and qualified website traffic… my favorite kind!

So few people squeeze even 10% of the traffic potential from their teleseminars. But if you follow along, I’m about to share one idea that will get you thinking a little deeper, have you taking action right now and actually seeing results in a very short period of time! And that’s even before you hear about the other six methods, or the secrets that tie them all together! So let’s get started getting more website traffic for you! This is how to do it:

You have a recorded copy of your call or interview, and have posted it to a page for replay. This is going to be your Thank You page. You’ll be driving your leads to a squeeze page first. On this page they’ll opt-in (provide their name and email address), to get access to the call. Once they opt-in on the squeeze page, they’ll be taken to the Thank You page where they can access the entire call along with any bonuses you’ll be providing. You will be having some bonuses right? Just because it’s free doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exceed any expectations your customers might have!

Higher value means more website traffic every time. That's because if the value is high enough, it will get people spreading the word and once it's gone viral… it'll be a website traffic storm! But that's another article… Back to it:

You could offer an upgrade from this page to get additional calls for a special price; or something along those lines if you were looking to monetize this set up right out of the gate. But I would concentrate on using these methods more as list building and website traffic tools initially, and then you can work on your back end products from there. Just my opinion, take it for what it’s worth!

So let’s talk about how we’re going to get such targeted, interested leads landing on squeeze page. Quite simply, by using the content from the recording as the lead generation content. This way, you already know that the people at your squeeze page are quite interested, because the content from the call itself is what drove them there… right? You’re already 10 steps ahead of your competition!

We’re going to transfer the content from the recording into other mediums, provide a bit of the “good stuff”, and then send the customers to our Squeeze Page to opt-in and get the whole recording… makes perfect sense… a website traffic master plan!

One of the best ways to spin the content is by turning portions, or all of it into articles, and then posting those articles on sites that rank well, and quickly with the search engines. Or you could post the content on social media and content sharing sites that you frequent and are already getting some website traffic of their own.

These types of sites are becoming more and more popular with search engines, and sites such as HubPages and Squidoo are capable of ranking within hours of your content post! Yes, it's about as close to instant website traffic as you can get!

You need to write a new article for each post, otherwise they won’t rank as well due to the duplicate content rules that govern search engine positioning (a topic for another series of articles, but unrelated right now)!

I consider a good length article to be around 500-800 words in length, with a keyword density between 2-3 percent and written naturally, as though you were speaking to another person, not writing for the search engines. Website traffic should be a natural side effect of providing valuable content.

I can’t stand it when you know someone’s keyword spamming just to get ranked, and get more traffic to their website, and website traffic is all they care about. There’s more to a web site than getting targeted website traffic, even if it’s free website traffic… Get my point? I had a hard time even writing that, and reading it… well you see what I mean! But I do hope this article ranks for the keyword term "website traffic"!

So that’s just one very simple way to start using teleseminars for short and long term traffic…writing and posting portions of the call to the top article directories, content sharing sites and Social Media sites. There are many more, and if you want to hear all about them, and learn the insider secrets that tie them all together, creating an unstoppable source of traffic for your online business, be sure to listen to the free teleseminar traffic system recording.

Get It Done…

Increased Website Traffic Is On The Way

I have been bombarded with a number of emails asking for the open date of the new website traffic generation tool at thelistauction.com so I wanted to post an update. I have been working out many of the bugs with programming (there are always a few!) and have decided to upgrade the system's affiliate program to make it a two tier system. This should make it far easier for newer members to earn larger commission checks more frequently. The primary purpose of The List Auction is to help drive traffic to your sites, but secondly I wanted it to be an additional income stream for its users… hence the updated commission structure.

This means that you promote the program and earn commissions on members that choose to upgrade their accounts. But not only that, when those members tell their friends about the system and they join, and upgrade… you'll get a cut of that as well. So you'll be earning on other peoples efforts. This works best for generating a long term income stream.

These implementations have added to the timeline, and programming is estimating that the project should be ready for larger scale testing within 2 weeks. I'll update everyone along the way, and can't wait to let people in and testing the final implementation. So thanks for your patience…

For those that have posted to the blog… Thanks for your comments, and if you've posted, you're on the advanced members list so I'll be sending you login info in the next couple of weeks. For those that have sent emails, you should have received a response from me directly. If you haven't… drop me another line and I'll get you on the list if spots are still available.

Here's to increasing your website traffic!

List Building Evolved - TheListAuction.com Beta Testers Needed

So the initial response for beta testers has done very well… many thanks to all of you who got on the Advanced Notification List at www.thelistauction.com. What I've decided to do is have additional members who are interested in helping out (and gaining early entry w/upgraded membership level perks), with testing functions and layout of the new site, submit their requests here. Just a quick note with your expressed interest, and maybe your thoughts on "why me"…

I sincerely hope to be able to accomodate most of those requesting early entry, but we'll see. The programming is nearly complete. As of today we've pushed the deadline to begin testing to March 30th, and we're going to be doing our best to hold to that. I expect a thorough run through and time to fix any bugs or design issues not to exceed 2 weeks; so we look to be on track for an April launch!

As you may already know, this is phase one of the project. I'll be launching the second List Building site that will be completely new and unlike anything you've ever heard of or seen, later in the year. The core of that system will use TheListAuction.com framework, but with a new twist that will have all of the mid-level and advanced marketers dropping jaws! I can't wait to share this news with you…<
